About Derek Loudermilk:
Author of Superconductors, Professional Adventurer, High Performance Business Coach, International Speaker, Host of the Art of Adventure Podcast, and Founder of AdventureQuest Travel
Derek has been traveling full time as a digital nomad since 2014, studying digital nomads and entrepreneurship in dozens of countries around the world. That research and the Art of Adventure podcast led Derek to write Superconductors: Revolutionize your career and make big things happen. Derek travels full time with his wife Heidi and two young children – they have been based in exotic places such as Mexico, Bali, Budapest, Portugal, and Croatia.
Derek tapped into his roots as an Eagle Scout to found AdventureQuest Travel, taking entrepreneurs and leaders on adventure trips around the world. The mission of AdventureQuest is to help people connect with their own nature to become more powerful, productive, and healthy.
Derek has pivoted careers multiple times from his first career as a professional road cyclist racing against the world’s top cyclists, to discovering a new species of virus in the hot springs of Yellowstone National Park. Derek continues with his decade-long study of what leads to fulfilling work and a lifestyle leads to awe, human connection, and impact.
